Encyclopedia Brown is a fifth grader with a brilliant mind. He knows so many facts that he has been nicknamed "Encyclopedia". He uses these skills to help his father, the chief of police, solve cases. He also uses it to help kids when school is out. In this book, he catches smugglers, sneaker thieves and cracks seemingly impossible codes. All in a days work for a boy genius. I borrowed most of the Encyclopedia Brown books in the series from the library near me. It's been great reading them.
