It si about this girl named Kaitlyn that has psychic powers. she lives with only her dad, and they are trying to scrape together as much money as they can. Then, one day at school, Kaitlyn is sent to the principal's office because someone is there. Kaitlyn reconizes there that it is Joyce Piper that did some vision screening last fall. so, Joyce then tells Kaitlyn about an institute for people like her that have psychic powers, and the institute is in L.A. Also Mr. Zete, the founder of the place will give Caitlyn a full scholarship to the place. anyway, the whole story is really how she goes to the institute and meets 4 other kids with psych powers. Rob, he can heal people with his energy. Lewis, he can move things telepathicly, Gabriel has telepathic memory, that comes in handy throughout the book, and Anna, she can talk to animals when she looks at them in the eye. So the book is about how kaitlyn falls in love with Rob, how they find o ut that Mr. zetes, and Joyce Piper are out to get them, how Gabriel uses his telepathic memory to go to all 5 of their brains, but then they find out the only way to get rid of it is if someone ies, how they have to run away in a stolen car, how they have to surrive, and how they all have to risk their lives for each other! -Ruby
