This book is the second book in the series and one of the most interesting ones as well. Encyclopedia Brown's skills as a genius are put to the test. Ever since he started his detective agency, he's had to stop a group known as "The Tigers" in almost every case. However, in this book, the Tiger's leader demonstrates what lengths he'll go to to outsmart hi and bully the other kids. He lies constantly, and will do many rash things to get what he wants.
