The Sorceress by Michael Scott
The Sorceress is the sequel to The Magician. The Flamel group (not including Scathach) flee to London. Palamedes, the Saracen Knight, brings them to his fortress, Where they meet William Shakespeare. Dee, Bastet, Cernunnos the Archon, and Cernunos' Wild Hunt attack Palamedes' fortress. The Flamel group escape and request Gilgamesh the King to teach Josh and Sophie. Gilgamesh forgets things over time, because of the fact he is the oldest human on Earth. Dee and Cernunnos almost capture the group, but escape. Josh throws Clarent at Dee, but must leave the sword to survive. Dee picks up the sword and watches as it fuses with Excalibur. Gilgamesh appears and touches the fused blade, saying this line from the great prophecy: The two that are one, the one that is all. -Albert
