It is a book about a girl who's parents are divorced and she moves from Allendale New Jersy to Rancho Rosetta California.She makes friends with a girl named Millicent Min over Volly ball.When Emily finds out that Millicent is a genius then she gets mad at her for not telling her the truth about it.She is angry at Millicent because she thougt the whole time that Millicent was telling the truth about being tutored by a boy named stanford wong.But it happens that it was the other way around.
The reason that I liked this book because it is in a series of books. the first one that I read was, Millicent Min,Girl Genius.The next book in the series that I read is about stanford wong the boy that Millicent is tutoring. the thing I liked about what Lisa Yee did was that the tree books were all about the same summer in three differnt perspective. -LiXing
