The Red Pyramid is one of my favorite books. Rick Riordan combines ancient Egyptian mythology and combines it with modern times. There is a brother and a sister that are magicians named Carter and Sadie are related to pharaohs of the past. In the story, Egyptian Gods and monsters are real. In short, the world is in danger, and Carter and Sadie must stop and evil chaos monster from ruling the world. They find enemies at every turn, but they also find friends in the most unexpected places. They travel around the world in a few days, hoping that they're not too late. AbdurRahman
