Truth or Dare: Five Girls, One Summer, and Many Secrets by Barbara Dee

Lia is still sad about her mom dying in that car accident, but now she at least can manage through it pretty well. She decided she didn't want to go to camp. She ran off instead of getting on the bus, left her friends without any information of what she was doing and with her dad's permission, ran off with her aunt. There she met new people, like Orange and Pink Bikinis, and handsome Tanner, all in high school.
She also realizes she and her aunt aren't really meant for each other. Her aunt tricks her into bra-shopping. She hated the whole experience. When she got back, everything had changed. Abi, Makayla, and Jules are more competitive and dramatic than ever. Anything will set them off. Marley is drifting away, annoyed of all the chaos. One sleepover, they decide to play truth or dare, a game that Abi, Makayla and Jules discovered over the summer. Soon they play it all the time, and it's going too far. Things are ruined between the little friendship that Lia ever had with her crush after a fake love letter and a dare to kiss. More friendships are ruined, more important ones. Lia tells a few- okay, a LOT of white lies about a fake romance with Tanner over the summer. Also about her period, which hasn't happened yet, but her friends can't know that.
Will Lia be able to keep up with it all?
