I recently read this book called "The Real Us" It tells the story of three middle schoolers. Calista, the prettiest girl in the school, they say, Damian, a shy, artsy kid with a sweating problem, and Laura, a smart, sporty kid that is made fun of because of her weight. Before a school dance that is really important to her, Calista wakes up with a big pimple. And it all goes downhill from there. Aside from that, Calista also has two friends, Ella and Ellie, who are very bad friends. She used to be best friends with Laura, but not anymore.
