The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

In the book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie, it talks about a boy named Arnold Spirit Jr. a.k.a. Jr.. It goes into his life by talking about the struggles he has with his friends where he lives and where he goes to school. Junior was also born with hydrocephalus (water in the brain), which causes a bunch of insecurities. In the book, Jr. switches to an all-white school where the only other Indian in town is the school mascot. Jr. also lives on a reservation which is very poor so while he is at school he tries his best to keep that a secret. At the school, Jr. makes new friends and even a girlfriend, read the book and follow Jr. on this crazy ride of him finding himself.
