This book is about a boy named Charlie who goes on a road trip with his siblings, a secretive family friend, and a three legged dog.Together, they travel across the country along with chaos to see their father again at the hospital. Meanwhile Charlie is scouting for birds on his someday birds list that he and his dad made. He hopes that maybe finding the someday birds will bring his father home.
