Eva Marie Olinski returns to teaching middle school after an accident that leaves her paralyzed from the waist down. Then its time to choose four sixth-grade students to represent her class in the Academic Bowl competition. The following students she chooses are Noah, Nadia, Ethan, and Julian. They call Themselves "The Souls." Its not until the end of the competition when Ms.Olinski knows why she pick them and why they make such a great team.
