“The Outsiders” by S. E. Hilton is about a rivalry between the rich and the poor teenagers of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The poor kids, called greasers, rob stores and get in fights. The rich kids, called socs, beat up the poor kids. When a fourteen year old greaser named Ponyboy gets jumped by a soc, they try to drown him, but a friend tries to protect him but ends up killing the offender. They run off into the country to protect themselves from the authorities. However, when they try going back something horrible happens. This book is a very good book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes classics.
