If I could re-write one part of the story, I'd want to re-write the part where Rat and Joah fight, Rat getting upset and yelling "Don't tell me what to do. Your not my parents! My parents are dead!" The scene had a good place, and it was nice to hear about Rat's backstory, but it felt rushed, and Rat got mad to quickly at her guardian. It would have been nice to have Joah lead up to making Rat upset, rather then rushing it, and Rat getting upset too quickly.
