This is a finger-biting novel about a boy named Thomas who wakes up one day in a giant courtyard surrounded by a maze. All he remembers is his name, just like the many other boys already there. There are creatures waiting within the maze who come out at night and stalk the maze. fortunately, the big stone walls close each night.
Then one night they don't.
