So B. It by Sarah Weekly

‘So B. It’ by Sarah Weeks is a very intriguing book that leaves you thinking hours after you read it. It is about a girl named Heidi who lives with her agoraphobic neighbor and her mentally disabled mother. Her neighbor, bernadette, found heidi and her mother, who calls herself So Be It on her doorstep of her apartment. She took them in and helped raise Heidi. Heidi has a lot of troubles in her life, but she has a lucky streak that allows her to beat every game of luck imaginable. That helps her when she goes on a mission to find out what one out of the 23 words her mother says means: soof. Heidi goes on a journey alone to the only place that can help her; her mother’s old institute. I would recommend this book to anyone who liked ‘The War That Saved My Life’.
