Read a book that’s been made into a movie and also watch the movie. Which did you like better?
I watched the movie today and there are so many differences from the book. Fiona and the Chief Elder have a larger role and Fiona and Asher have different jobs. The movie shows what happens to the Giver and society after Jonas passes the barrier and I really liked that but, I'm still going to stick with the book because Lois Lowry made Jonas so independent and showed so much character development that I think the movie did not capture.
