Somewhere between life and death by Lurlene McDaniel

It's about a girl named Erin, and how she has to cope with her sister from being in a car accident. Erin's sister Amy just got her drivers licience 1 week ago, so she wants to be the one to go and get the sodas. It is raining out and Amy does not come back with the sodas. Soon Erin finds out that Amy has been in a terrible car crash and is at the hospital in a coma. Amy had been driving but since it was raining so hard, she lost control of the car, and hit a tree. she wasn't wearing her seat belt because she hates how it has to go over your shoulders. soon amy is pronounced brain dead and Erin has to decice wheather to let people donate her organs or to just keep her on the machine that is keeping her heart beating. -Ruby
