The Last of the really great Wangdoodles by Julie Andrews Edwards

What books would you recommend to the main character of the book and why?

Three kids meet a famous professor with a secret. After an encounter on Halloween, the three begin training at his house. For what? Entering Wangdoodle Land, a place where magic and mythical creatures thrive. There's only one problem: the shy Wangdoodle doesn't like guests, and his assistant, the oily Prock, will do anything to stop them. I would recommend Roald Dahl books to the professor, also a wacky guy.

Julie Andrews Edwards is also a famous actress.
