What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?
The Midwife's Apprentice is an oldfashiony tale of a girl who becomes Jane the Midwife's apprentice (her name is Alyce). When Alyce is called to help Emma birth her baby and fails, she leaves the village and becomes an inn girl. At the end she is reunited with Jane. The character I would most want to be friends with is Purr, the cat, because cats are awesome! The character I least want to be friends with is the miller's wife, because she has an awful temper
