Tracing Stars is a wonderful story about a girl named Indie Lee Chickory who likes to make fish faces. When Indie accidentally brings her lobster, The Lobster Monty Cola, to school, her sister who used to be her best friend, but is not anymore because she is trying to be perfect, turns away from her, and Indie is left alone. Bebe (her sister) is one of the von Trapps in The Sound of Music in a play, and she decides to work backstage on the sceneries. Indie meets Owen, another kid working backstage, and together they search for The Lobster Monty Cola. But disaster strikes when Bebe and her new friend, Kelsey, find out about her friendship with Owen (who they think is weird), and Indie needs to comfort him. If you like this book, you should read Jasmine and Maddie
