The Borrowers is the story of the tiny people who live under Kate's kitchen floor. Whenever they need something, they "borrow" it. There are three of them, Pod, the dad, Homily, the mom, and Arrietty, the daughter. Only Pod is allowed into the place where the "human beans" live. But Arrietty is desperate for a human companion. Her curiosity brings her family on many dangerous adventures. This book is filled with excitement, adventure, and the risk of being seen. I would definitely recommend to all ages, because it is a book you will not want to put down!
