What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?
Princess Academy is the tale of a poor mining village called Mount Eskel, a town scorned by richer kingdoms. All of a sudden, it is declared that Mount Eskel is the place a princess will be chosen from. Thus begins the story of the Princess Academy, where the village girls learn how to act and behave like princesses. This book is full of laughter and spirit, and it shows how knowledge can make a difference. The character I would want to be friends with is Miri, the main character, because she is full of determination and wit. The character I would least want to be friends with is Liana, because she is full of herself, and flirts with Peter, Miri's friend/crush.
