In Dragon Rider, 3 companions will find themselves flying to the Himalayas to find the Rim of Heaven, a magical place where dragons hide in a high valley. Firedrake the dragon must find the Rim of Heaven with the help of two rats, a professor, a spotted forest brownie (That's a furry cat like creature. Don't get these mixed up with chocolate brownies.), a small boy named Ben, 4 dwarves, a Twigleg, some monks, a four - armed brownie, and a moonstone.
Their quest is long, but Firedrake, Sorrel, and Ben will endure their many misadventures along the way. They find themselves getting into more trouble then anybody could've and going out of their way straight to the Rim of Heaven but going to some other places unimaginable...
I really hope that Funke makes a sequel for this. I am waiting, and so are the characters to see the Rim of Heaven, but no as they expected....
