Amanda should be excited to be turning 11, but she can't find anything to be looking forward to. Every year until her 10th birthday, Amanda had a joint birthday party with her best friend Leo. She wants to have the exciting party that Leo is having, with a hypnotist, a football player and a band, but instead she's stuck in an uncomfortable costume for the Hollywood themed party her mom put together for her. Amanda is looking forward to the day after her birthday to push everything aside; the terrible party, and the fight with Leo. But the next day is her birthday all over again!
I really enjoyed this book, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to find out the interesting story of Amanda and Leo's birthday! I can't wait to start the next book in the series, Finally, and then 13 Gifts, the final book in the series. -Priya
