I've read a bunch of Carl Hiassen books before this one, and I've always really liked them, so I was happy when this one came out. It's about an animal wrangler and his son who get offered a job with a t.v survival show. Since they really need the money, they accept the job. Then comes a new character, Derek Badger, the star of the show! The survivalist. Or so they think, until they discover he is a total fake, and doesn't know any single thing about surviving in the wilderness at all. Then comes Tuna, a girl who asks to come with them to the show, to get away from living in a walmart parking lot with her all-the-time drunk father. But when Tuna's dad comes looking for her with a loaded gun, nothing goes right. -Mariah
