This book is about 4 kids: Sophie, Emme, Carter, and Ethan who go to a performing arts school. Sophie is Emme's best friend who NEEDS to be a star. She knows she's going to be one, and she'll do anything to get on top. Emme, who writes songs for Sophie to sing is pretty quiet, but soon joins a band, and almost becomes the center of attention at a school showcase..which she hates to be. Carter, a child star who had a huge career in the acting buisness, but never liked it. And Ethan. The lead singer in the band with Emme, who everybody thought was the best songwriter in the whole school. And he believed it. Until he heard Emme sing one of her songs.
