This is actually a pretty good book if you're having some problems in the summer. (i guess?) Katie is leaving fourth grade and she wants to spend time with her friends, but one is going away for two weeks and the other is doing some strange project. Then she finds out that she might have to move to Portland! Worse, her mom won't be able to come home because she is now a really famous country singer. Good things happen along the way (i won't tell you, you have to read the book.) Finally their family decides to get a dog, and it just ends right there! I really want to know what happens to the dog!
