It is about this girl named Mia Thermopolis that finds out she is the next queen on Genovia. But Mia is known to be a nerd, and does not have many friends. But, when people find out that she is a princess, the most popular boy at school starts to like her. Mia has to learn all the ways to be a princess from her grandmother.
