Fever

Mattie had a lot of plans for her family's cofee shop. But all is gone when the disease ( the fever brakes out. When mama gets sick with the fever she makes mattie leave to a different place. Mattie doesn't want to leave her mom, but mama makes her leave. Grandpa comes with mattie. when they where about to cross the borrde of philadelphia grandpa gets sick. so they have to go back to philadelphia. But mattieand grandpa can't walk all the way back to philadelphia. They don't get far when grandpa gets really sick. Mattie finds a blueberry tree and a fresh pond. Mattie walk a little and falls to the ground. When she woke up she found her sef in a place where they take care of the sick people or the people who have the fever. The first questions she has is whre is my grandpa? At the place they give her soup that she doesn't like but she still drinks the soup. When mattie is feeling better they get out and head for their home ( the cofee shop). When they get to the house they find out taht inruders have messed up this place. They clean the house and fix everything. One day the intruders come in again and steal stuff. But mattie hears them and gets up to get them out of the house. BUt they don't leave that quick first they ask if she has a strongbox in the house. Gandpa hears this and comes downstairs. He stands in front of the door and tells the intruders to let go off her. One of them is scared but the other say, "look at him he can barely stand. Grandpa gave the guy three sconds to let go of her but the intruder didn't. So grandpa shot but the intruder jumped out of the way. The shot knocked grandpa down. The intruder jumped on grandpa and punched. Then the inruder banged grandpa's head on the floor. Mattie picked up the sword and and swung at the intruder and gashed his shoulder. The intruder ran to the window and jumped out. Grandpa was dead.  -Yesehak
