Would you recommend this book? If so, who would you recommend it to, and why? If not, why not?
I would recommend this book for whoever likes historical fiction, because that's exactly the genre of this book. It takes place in 1939 in during World War ll. The starting of the book is kind of sad, because her mother abuses Ada, and gets a swollen twisted foot. Her mother never let's Ada get out of the house, and Ada can only see out the window. But the adventure begins when Jamie and Ada escape to Suzan Smith. There they stay together for awile, and Ada gets to play with Suzan's horse!
There a lot of adventure in this book, and I typically lik this book because it is realistic fiction, but it also takes place during the past which is also more intersting. I totally recommend reading this book!
