This is a creative story about a girl who has never met her grandmother before. She (Annie, the girl) and her mother race over to Hotel Calvert in hope of seeing the cranky old lady before she dies. That night, Annie is taken back in time 50 years, to the year 1937, and gets the opportunity to meet her grandma in a whole new way. The minor character in this book that I would like to know more about is Molly's cat; what happened to him later on? If there were a book about him, it would be called Meow.
