This was an incredible story about a black girl who is given the opportunity to go to a much better school with white kids. It was a struggle for her at first, but she made a few friends, and she decided to enter her dog in a herding competition. However, she was not sure she would be allowed to. But Kizzy Ann Stamps was not one to give up!
I would DEFINITELY recommend this book to those who are not fans of stories in the form of letters- this book will certainly change your mind!
This was another book from my book club (and possibly my favorite). You should TOTALLY read this book!!!
