What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?
The challenges of growing up are shown in this book. Margaret just moved from New York City to the suburbs. Her neighbor Nancy forms a group of girls, including Margaret. She's worried that she'll be the last one to grow up. When there's things she would rather not discuss with her friends, she confides in God. The character in this story that I would most want to be friends with is- drumroll please- Margaret. Why? Because she is trusting and truthful. The character I would least want to be friends with is Nancy because she lies to her friends to be "cool".
