I almost cried reading this. This book is about a dog named Brodie. Brodies dead. Unfortunately. So now he's in doggie afterlife! But Brodie knows he's forgetting something. He's forgetting his boy, his boy who is in danger. So Brodie goes back to earth. To save his boy. Because Brodie is a good dog, and that's what good dogs do.

The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White

What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?


The Trumpet of the Swan is an amazing book about Louis, a trumpeter swan who doesn't have a voice. His father and a boy named Sam Beaver help him, but when he falls in love with a beautiful swan named Serena and she refuses him, his father steals a trumpet so he can steal her heart. In the end, Louis finds his voice. The character in this book that I would most want to be friends with is Louis, because he never gives up. My least favorite character is the storekeeper, because he is violent.

I studied trumpeter swans in 4th grade!

Dominic by William Stieg

What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?


Dominic is a fun-loving dog who sets out into the world to seek his fortune (cliche). He soon finds that a dangerous gang called the Doomsday Gang are on the loose, and they trap him in a hole. He escapes and befriends an old pig named Badger. When Badger dies, he leaves his huge fortune to Dominic. The Doomsday are after the riches, and Dominic has to fight them off. Dominic meets many animals along his journey, and gives jewels to many of them. There was a Donkey who helped carry his jewels, a poor boar who was robbed before his wedding, a slow turtle who tried to lend a hand, and a friendly goose who was ambushed by the Doomsday Gang.
Later, on his way to the boar's wedding, he meets a tiny elephant who forgot a magic word that can make all his wishes come true. When the merry wedding is interrupted by the band of criminals, Dominic decides to finish them once and for all.
I would most want to be friends with the goose, because she is a friendly and fun creature. I would least want to be friends with the fox, because he is a sly, cruel, heartless creature. Though this book is a little below my reading level, I would highly recommend it. It is full of excitement and fun, and is a pleasant relaxing story.

What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?


The Dog Who Caught The Crook... And Other Incredible True Stories is an amazing collection of true stories about savior dogs that makes me love canines even more. This collection of dog stories has many different types of dogs in it; heroes, rescuers and mischief-makers. This book will warm your heart, make you cry, and at the end of it you will be astounded and wondering "how is that possible?!" The character in this book that I would most want to be friends with is Jet, a brave, sweet dog that saved her owner's life. My least favorite characters are everyone who told Robbie to put his dog Sophie down.

Gaby, Lost and Found by Angela Cervantes

If someone liked this book, what other books should they read?


This is a delightful story about a girl who volunteers at a local animal shelter and falls in love with one of the cats there. Her mother was deported to Honduras and Gaby is stuck with her father who pretty much ignores her. Bad news from Honduras may ruin Gaby's dream of her family. If you like this book, you should read Abby, First at Last, also by Angela Cervantes.

How to Outfox Your Friends When You Don't Have a Clue by Jess Keating

For some reason the title really speaks to me (even more then the other titles of the previous books in the series). I guess I just like the sound of it.
This is the book where:
Ana turns 13!
Finds out she is clueless when it comes to shakespeare.
And sees her best friend Liv again!!!
A great year, right? (minus the shakespeare part).
WRONG!!!!
Liv has totally changed. She has purple hair, a new besty, a creepy boy-friend, and a bad attitude.
To make up for the shakespeare thing and hopefully strengthen her friendship with Liv; she is going to make a documentary about the people and places that inspire her (her friends Ashly, Bella, and Liv. Her grandfather. And the zoo.)
I really liked this book!

How to Outswim a Shark Without a Snorkel by Jess Keating

This is the 2nd book in the series.
Basically, this girl named Ana is living in a zoo where her parents work. She was recently convinced to do presentations on crocodiles and is finally feeling comfortable talking about them. NOW they want her to do presentations on the animals in the new aquarium exhibit, THAT is pushing it. So not only does Ana have to swim with sharks, she has to put up with the other volunteer, her arch enemy: Ashley.
Unlike in the previous book; Ana makes some REALLY bad choices. There are a lot of times when I know how something is going to turn out several chapters before the main character does.
Mistakes and all, I really enjoyed the book.

How to Outrun a Crocodile When Your Shoes Are Untied by Jess Keating

I really liked this book!
It's about a girl who is really shy. Her parents work at a zoo and her grandfather is a famous animal documentary guy named Shep Foster. She has to live in a zoo and is always being pestered by her family to do public speaking. I think it's unfair that she has to do all the public speaking when she gets really anxious and has panic attacks. They should make the brother do it (he's really carefree). It would make the sister much happier and the brother would be able to do more than create chaos and run around with his pet snakes. That makes more SENSE but not the best STORY. In a story there has to be conflict (in my opinion). She also has to worry about being teased at school because her best friend moved away and can't protect her.

It's a REALLY good book and I highly recommend it.

In this book Ariol there are these characters that are in the malls there are different kinds of animals that are dogs cats tigers and many more they also talk just like humans. In the book Ariol he faces a lot of types of challenges and adventures with his friend Ramono. He also needs other types of people in this neighborhood. Do you have a lot of fun but he mostly wants to get attention from petula. But mostly bizzbilla wants Ariol to pay attention to her.

There are two characters I would like to talk about. One: Gully (A newt) and a lizzark. I would like to be friends with Gully because he is nice, a magician, a supportive, and caring father, and husband. And he helps his friends hunt food and find energy bugs with his magic. Lizzarks kill and eat nnewts. For no reason known whatsover. Why would I like them?

Garfield will eat for food, Jim Davis

What books would you recommend to the main character of the book and why?


To the main character of this book, I believe it is Garfield, I will recommend the book Yoga Bible. You can get it on Amazon for $12.42! It's a book that teaches you yoga poses and some explanation. Anyway, everyone knows that Garfield is such a huge boring cat, that kills spiders, likes to sleep, and LOVES food! Well, actually Garfield is fantasy; there are no walking dreams, and no cat is just SO curazy! I think Yoga Bible will be the BEST book for Garfield, because in NONE of the Garfield books have that cat excersizing. And in each book, there is that weight scale telling him that he is... you-know-what!

Garfiel pulls his weight by Jim Davis

Another Garfield book! Yes, indeed it is another cat book! Well Garfield books don't have a center plot, because each page is about something else. Mainly, this also tells about Garfields diet, and the weight scale telling him that he is fa*. (that was suppose to be 'fat', but I thought it was kind of a rude word so, that's why there was a *). Anyway, I totally recomend this book, I mean like other Garfield books they are always awesome, you can get them at the library, and yeah!

Northwood by Brian Falkner

Would you recommend this book? If so, who would you recommend it to, and why? If not, why not?


I love this book. The black lions are very interesting. This book is full of mystery and I love history of the figuring it out but then I sort of sometimes get angry when the characters that's really stupid and don't figure out the mystery until like page 365. A great book to read during the summer and the chillingly Beautiful book to read during the winter. And I think that this is an amazing book and I really would like everyone to read it. An amazing book to read for animal lovers mystery lovers and girls.

Leaping Beauty and other animal fairytales by Gregory Maguire

If this book were a food/color/song/smell, what would it be and why?
this book would probably be greenish- blueish - brownish. green for grass, blue for the sea and sky and brown for the ground. for food this would probably be a bark and worms burger. Animals eat what they eat. it sounds gross to us but to them it probably would seem like a cheeseburger. For probably one of those nature sound tracks the teacher to make kids quiet. Smell, dirt, nature,wet dog. read this book. Go sixth grade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is a lot like Zootopia, that amazing cool movie Disney released in March 2016. If you've never heard of it go right and look it up and watch. this book connects to the orginal fairy tales but animal style. Party like an animal while watching Zootopia and/ or this book.

Black Beauty, by Anna Sewell

What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?
This book is all about horses. I would love to be friends with all of the people who treated the horse Black Beauty with kindness and a knowing, loving hand, but I will choose the first two as my favorites. Black Beauty's first owner, was called his "master". Apparently, some humans have names and others don't. His master was so kind, and trained him to be the kindest and most helpful horse ever! (Training for the first time is also called "breaking in") The next person that Black Beauty cherished and loved was his groom in his first home away from his mother's side. This person's name was John Manly. He was very gentle with horses, and knew everything about them. He and the stable boy, James Howard, say that any horse at the Birtwick estate will be cured of all viciousness. John says that it's all in the "Birtwick horseballs". These balls, he says, are "made up of patience and gentle ness, firmness and petting, one pound of each to be mixed up with half a pint of common sense, and given to the horse every day." He is the person I would most like to be friends with.Any person that can teach me how to handle a horse in the best way is my friend.
