What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?
I would want to be friends with Jinsen. Jinsen is a new student who just came to the main character's school. Jinsen is bullied because he acts different than the other students. He begs with a bowl at lunch, always stays calm, and is friendly to everyone even when he is being bullied. Other students are disgusted with him and think he's weird. I was drawn to his kindness and good attitude from the beginning of the book. Even if other students were mean to me about it, I would still be his friend
