This book is about the time when Christianity started to spread in China. The main characters of this book, and it’s sequel, Saints have met each other. But one is on the Chinese side. And in Saints, the main character is on the christians’ side. In Boxers, it tells the story in the perspective of a Chinese guy who believes in Chinese deities.
