the part i liked was when a girl met the people who lives new next door and she fell in love and she started babysitting the kids just to see the boy and the baby was use to being carried on one side and she would pull on the bathing suit.

What I Saw and How I Lied by Judy Blundell
This is an award winning book about a 15 year old girl named Evie (Evelyn.) All she wants to do is grow up fast and be like her mother. Her mother is overprotective and tells her, she doesn't have to grow up fast. Joe, Evie's stepfather comes back from the war and is drinking alot, and receiving annoymous phone calls. He suddenly decides to take a trip down to Florida. They stay in a hotel. One night Evie discovers that a high school dance is happening in the hotel ballroom, and dresses up in her mother's clothes to make her look older. At the dance she feels stupid and went out to the pool. There a man asks her to dance. Evie finds out his name was Peter, and he was an ex-GI during the war. Suddenly, her mom is taking long shopping trips, the Grayson's (a couple from the hotel) are fighting, and Evie finds herself right in the middle of it. This is sometimes a very, very, very inappropiate book.

Schooled by Gordon Korman
Capricorn Anderson has spent his whole life living in Garland farm With his hippie grandmother/teacher.
But one day, his grandmother Rain, falls out of a plum tree and Cap is forced to go to a regular public school. Cap knows nothing, absolutely nothing about regular schools. He doesn't get why people keep stuff in lockers, what a wedgie is, and most of all why the kids wear weird looking clothes.
There's a school tradition where in eighth grade everyone chooses the biggest loser to be president (with nobody against them so that person's automatically president), and watch that person make a fool of themselves. Of course Cap is nominated. Read the book to find out what happens.

The Pact by Jodi Picoult
I finally finished this book, but part of me feels as though the story is incomplete. To me, it seems as though that Chris's life is worthless now that the girl of his dreams is dead while people still believe that he *SPOILER ALERT* is the murder even though he was declared not guilty. *SPOILER ALERT IS DONE* Anyway, the story had less of a twist then her other novels which is a relief. You can only read so much Picoult without being completely ruined.
On that note, I definitely recommend this book. It's a bit of a depressing read and it takes awhile for the real awesome action (when they are in court) to begin but it's worth it. So good luck and enjoy the book.

Tall Story
This book is about a girl named Andi, and her brother, Bernardo. Andi, her Filipino mom (or should i say mum), and her English dad live in London. This book is about how her "long-lost" brother, Bernardo, finally reunites with the family after he leaves San Andres in the Philippines for London, England. But there are some catches. After all, Bernardo is REALLY tall (and when i say that i mean REALLY TALL!) and has an interesting(and mystical) past. This book is really good and i recommend it to anyone with a good taste in books, and to people without.
If you’re still not convinced, this book is a Tallulah and Blanche Book Awards book, which pretty much proves how awesome it is.

A Mango Shaped Space
This book was very interesting and was fun to read, because of the cat whose name is Mango. The main character named Mia, named her cat cat Mango because of the sound of his purrs. one thing I liked in this book was that I got to know more about Mia's family and I thought that was funny because the author Wendy Mass chose to make Mia the normal kid in this book and the rest of the family have a awkwardness in them.
