The House of Hades by Rick Riordan

If someone liked this book, what other books should they read?
If someone liked this book, they would like all of Rick Riordan's books, because they all include crazy gods, flying foods, and the occasional peanut - intolerant elephant.

As a recap of The Mark of Athena, Percy and Annabeth have both gone a little bit deeper than hell. They've gone to a hub of misery, night, darkness, evil, and immortal monsters that will eat them up at every step.
It took nine days to fall down there, and when Percy and Annabeth finally get to Tartarus, they're bombarded by both old and new friends. They also meet their worst fears there... and a goddess who's not on the Tartarus tour guide.

In the action - packed House of Hades, Hazel must use her new powers to defeat almost unbeatable foes, including a person who needs them to wash his stinky feet.
Leo must deal with his heart in the middle because of a character that is coming back from Percy Jackson and The Olympians, and that character fell for Percy but was abandoned.
Jason must deal with the south wind's crazy horses, and Piper needs to work on her sword combat instead of convincing her opponent to kill themselves.
Percy and Annabeth strive to stay together after being separated for eight months, and being thrown into the pit.
Frank must trust Leo to not burn his lifeline, literally - because Frank's lifeline is a piece of charred firewood.
In The House of Hades, crazy is not defined at all - because this crazy includes farting weasels, monster zits, smokey giants, and a fake maze that seems all too real.
