Picture Me Gone By Meg Rosoff

What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?
In the book Picture Me Gone, there are two main characters that have very different personalities. One of the characters is a young girl named, Mila. Mila is quiet and thinks to herself a lot. She doesn't talk much but there is always a lot of thought process going through her mind. She also has a very sharp eye. Mila has the talent of being able to collect information from just the way a pair of shoes are messily thrown on the floor. The plot of the book Picture Me Gone, is a mystery of a missing person. A perso that has many secrets. Mila is a very important role in unraveling the whole story behind the missing man. She collects clues from a dog and a family that the man leaves behind. The other main character is Mila's father. Mila's father is a joyful man who is able to hide all of his anxiety and stress underneath a good conversation and a smile. Though Mila's father isn't as good as Mila is at solving puzzles, he always keeps up with Mila's thought process and the two of them are always on the same page. If I could be friends with both of them or just one of them, I would be friends with Mila's father. I love talking and I don't think that Mila's silence would be good for me. It might make me feel like she isn't paying attention to me or that she is judging what I say somehow. Mila's father is good at conversations and that is just the sort of friend I would like to have.
