If you liked this book then I would recommend "The Last Dragon" series by Chris d'Lacey (the first book is called "The Fire Within"). Both book series are about dragons seen from a positive view. One major difference is that in "Wings of Fire" dragons eat the humans and in "The Last Dragon" The dragons are made by the humans. I enjoyed both series but found "Wings of Fire" a more interesting (and easier) read. "The Legends of DarkStalker" is tied with "Escaping Peril" and "Moon Rising" for my favorite book in the series. My favorite character in the book is...WhiteOut and ClearSight.
