Caroline Abbott is growing up in the 1810s during the War of 1812.She lives in New York.She loves sailing on Lake Ontraio with her father.One day her father is captured by British Troops.She has to stay strong while her father is prisoner to the British.Meanwhile some nice boarders 2 girls and their mom stay with Caroline's family.(Boarder girls dad is a patriot solider)
