Dog is Magpies companion. One day they are running along. Dog sees Fox. Dog asks fox if he wants to stay with them. After 3 days of spending with dog and magpie fox convinced magpie to come along with him. That's when Dog and Magpie are separated. Maybe even forever. Its such a sad book. Oh and a picture book.
