What Else Is New?

Ramadan:
Do you know what Ramadan is? A coupe of you reading it might know what it is. Maybe because you or your family members are participating in it. Ramadan is an Islamic Month. It is 9th month of the Gregorian calendar and the holy month of fasting. In Ramadan, you fast for thirty days. Every night from Isha to until about 11:15 p/m, you pray a prayer called Taraweeh. On the last ten days of Ramadan, you ALSO pray something called Tahajud. In Tahajud, you pray from 1:00 to about 10-20 minutes before it is time for Sunnah (when you start fasting). So you dont get much time to eat. A lot of people go to the mosque to break their fast, eat together, pray together, and read the Koran. -Beftu
