The Canning Season is probably one of the funniest, weirdest, craziest books I've ever read. From the moement I ment Tilly and Penpen, I knew the book had taken a turn. I could tell that there would be a whole bunch of stories from when Tilly and Penpen were younger. And I enjoyed these stories very much, the stories are very funny in a dark way. I couldn't put this book down. From ine to ten, I rate it an eleven! - Vera
