Boys are Dogs by, Leslie Margolis

The book is about a girl named Annabelle who has just come back from a Summer-long sleep-away camp and soon finds out that her mom and her mom's boyfriend just got her a new dog! Annabelle starts training it with help from a book her mom gave her on training your new dog. Annabelle is going to a new school. A public school. She has always gone to an all girls school, so when she starts going to school with boys, she learns that they are mean and will have to train them to be nicer to her.
