In this book there is a girl named Ingrid, a star soccer player on her tea,/ She seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time in the beginning of the book. She leaves the orthodontist place in a hurry so she could get to practice since her mother is late to pick her up. This familiar stranger stops her when she gets lost. The stranger brings her into her house and has her wait in a room while the stranger calls the taxi to pick Ingrid up and take her to where her practice is. Ingrid takes out her cleats but puts them on the table when the stranger comes in. The taxi comes and picks Ingrid up. When Ingrid arrives, she doesn't see her team on the field practicing. A few minutes later, her mother comes there all worried.
The next morning, she looks at the newspaper her father is reading and sees on one of the pages the stanger has been murdered. The name was Katherine Kovac. Ingrid thinks all about her until her mother comes in and reminds her to get ready for her grandfathers birthday. She practices shooting and eats s'mores with her grandfather. When it's night, it's time for her game. She looks for her cleats but can't find them. She asks her mother if she's seen them. That's when she remembers she was at the strangers house and she had left the cleats on the table. -Beftu
