this book is the second in the amulet series i love it basically the elve failed on getting the stone and so the went to see the king of elves and the king said to his son you failed so he sends a elve that kills anything that gets in its way and the stone keeper is headed to kanalis because the mother of the kids has got poisoned by a arachnopod and the city of kanalis had the cure
i also recommend this book because it s so interesting and cool how they get the cure and wht they have to go threw to get the cure
