The Boy Who Saved Baseball by John H. Ritter

This is a very fast-paced book with lots of interesting detail filled throughout this book. This book has a lot of good moments, bad moments death, life, and even miracles. In this book 2 boys are trying really hard to fight for the baseball field in Dillontown. These boys have a compromise with doc that if they win a baseball game versus one of the best teams in in the state. During the game the miracle of the century happened in the bottom of the sixth inning, Tom Gallagher hit a towering pop up and all the infielders fought for the catch but they all tripped over each other and all of the infielders missed the ball. And Dillontown was once again saved. Sadly at the end Doc had died after all the stress that he had went through.
