The Elephant Thief is an amazing, page-turner novel about the connection between a boy and an Elephant. This elephant turns pick-pocket Danny’s life around, and in turn, Danny saves Maharajah’s life several types. There were many turning-points while reading this book, and you’ll have to read it to find out the true motives of each character. I recommend that every single kid in grades 3-7 reads this suspenseful book, especially those in grades 5-7. You will love this unique novel about an unusual friendship.
Through the Fresh Ink program at Porter Square Books, I am reading this book to review it as it is yet to be published. I absolutely recommend all of you read it when it comes out in March of 2018. It truly is an amazing book.
