Yesterday, I began reading "The Pact" by Jodi Picoult. So far, it's quite interesting, I just wish Jodi hadn't went off and killed another character. Anyway, this story is like the anti-Romeo and Juliet type of story. There are these two teens, Chris and Emily who have grown up together ('cause their parents are besties) and fell in love. Yet some point in their relationship, Emily gets shot. Chris is saying it's suicide, the prosecution is saying it's homicide. It tears the two families apart and I am guessing it's going to lead Chris to commit suicide himself. The dude is depressed that the love of his life is dead, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he does.
I guess I would suggest the book but so far it's a drag. Nevertheless, Picoult (my new obsession!) always starts her books off with a drag and ends them with a big bang. So let us see what happens!
